Remains of the Day

Sahagun post-festival, where people were out partying until 8am this morning, and a few random pics from Red (of past walks) that I love. No Camino today because of my bum foot (a pulled tendon), and the taxi cab wasn't picturesque enough to capture.

The shadowy remains of a pilgrim.

I made Red take this one. Remains of a fallen Camino comrade.

Remains of the day.

Last night's albergue/hotel in Sahagun.

Marketing remains.

Human remains. Young men filled the streets this morning, trying to nurse their hangovers (this is a hamburger vending machine - don't get me started on why this is WRONG) or continue drinking. Quite a few bars were packed. We watched an angry pastry shop owner chase away one of them.

Walk of shame.

Remains of a dress.

Party remains.

Cocktail remains.

One drunk guy insists on having his picture taken with a Californian.

Graffiti remains. Not one but TWO Blackheart sightings in Sahagun.

Remains of a life. Red and I get word that someone died in the bull run. Here, that person's memorial. Such a waste of life for something so trivial.
