Now, please don't be sad. But, most importantly, please don't desert us. We promise to be up and running again with pictures as soon as we meet up with the Sactown gang in Puenta La Reina. Until then, please continue to enjoy our Camino anecdotes and witticisms, using the world's original camera - the imagination - to fill in the blanks.
Perhaps, in the end, it's best not to show you photographs as we approach the Pyrenees, as the images may frighten you to the point that you can't sleep at night picturing the horrendous fates that could befall my mother and I as we attempt to scale those intimidating beasts.
Other items that hotels have so rudely and thoughtlessly torn from our needy pilgrim hands: 1 pink Venus razor, 1 pair of hiking socks, 1 earplug, 1 pair of a liner socks and 1 gold and pearl earring.

Hours after writing this, mom and I finally realized we could take pictures with my iPhone in the meantime and email them to ourselves to post. Yes, folks, we're slow. They don't call us Team Escargot for nothing. But it does go to show that our "Figure It Out" motto - no matter how long it takes you to, hence, figure it out - does actually work.

Glad you figured out an alternate way to post photos, ladies. I love to see what you are seeing. However, that said, even if you can't post pics for awhile, Tess' writing is so vivid that I'll definitely still get a good feel for what you are experiencing. Diane
